Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb
13:8) If God heals yesterday, He heals today. (Exodus 15:26)

It
is God's intention that the body of Christ remains healthy
both physically and mentally. Prevention from sickness is
God's will for us.

For
many diseases where the causes are not physical but
psychosomatic, there are spiritual root causes including under
the curse of sin. (Psalms 38:3, John 5:14)

When a person
sins without confession and repentance, he predisposes himself
to demonic influences through ungodly thoughts, giving rise to
the establishment of strongholds (2 Cor 10:4) such as ungodly
belief and value system.

In turn, these
strongholds, through the mind-body connection affect the
physical well being of that person. (Psalm 38)

The state of the
mind is a reflection of the state of the soul and of the
spirit man. (Prov 23:7)

Healing,
sustenance of health and prevention of sickness comes form the
holistic sanctification of spirit, soul and body (1Thess 5:23)
including the transformation of the soul and renewal of the
mind to God's ways. (Romans 12:2)

The atonement
sacrifice of Christ at Calvary has given us the right
to be free form the curse of sin (Isaiah 53:4-6) and this
freedom is achieved by appropriation through sanctification.

Sanctification
can be achieved through having a proper relation with God by
being obedient to His Word especially the Great Commandments.

In accordance to
Mark 16:17, Jesus Christ has given the full power of
attorney to believer to cast out demons and heal the sick.

Being in good
health is not the end in itself but is a means to make us
predisposed to serve the Kingdom more effectively. (2 Tim2:21)
